J.K. Rowling wanted to kill Ron Weasley

The author of the Harry Potter books has finally admitted that she had murderous plans for poor old Ron Weasley. Why? Well that's simple: A.) because she can; and B.) because she was in a bad mood.

In an interview with The Telegraph, the author admitted her dark plans for Weasley:

"Funnily enough, I planned from the start that none of them would die. Then midway through, which I think is a reflection of the fact that I wasn't in a very happy place, I started thinking I might polish one of them off. Out of sheer spite. 'There, now you definitely can't have him any more. But I think in my absolute heart of heart of hearts, although I did seriously consider killing Ron, I wouldn't have done it."

We kind of love that Ron almost got the axe out of sheer spite. Poor Ginger, glad he stuck around long enough to make more wowzers faces in the finale.
