Ridley Scott's new Blade Runner movie could be a sequel, but without Deckard

Ridley Scott, who is lined up to direct the brand new Blade Runner movie, has finally spilled a few details about what he has in store for his futuristic army of replicants.

The director said that the next Blade Runner movie is "liable to be a sequel" — sans Harrison Ford's character Deckard (which is probably a good thing). While we're happy not to have yet another prequel on the way, we're also sad we won't get to see the infamous mutiny that made all Replicants illegal on Earth in the first place. [via Speak Easy]
