According to a few online reports a special screening of Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance at the BNAT was met with a resounding "meh." Mostly due to the muddled script, and the seen-it-before characters. However the Crank directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor did get a lot of praise for their daredevil camera angles and crash-crazy action scenes.

Perhaps this is why the latest and greatest trailer for Ghost Rider 2 has a lot more story and a lot less Nic Cage vomiting fire bullets (that's still in there, but with a lighter touch). Here's hoping Ghost Rider 2 is a lot more like Drive Angry, and a lot less like the first Ghost Rider movie.

Watch it in HD over at Yahoo. Ghost Rider 2 hits theaters on February 17th, 2012.
