Very little is known about Sebastián Cordero's space exploration flick, The Europa Report. The only clues we have are a small plot description: "A crew of international astronauts are sent on a private mission to Jupiter's fourth moon." But just recently a viral site for the flick appeared, and it's stuffed with footage from inside the astronauts' spaceship.

Watch as District 9's Sharlto Copley (playing an unnamed space explorer) works out, takes a nap, and shares a meal with his mates.

While this footage isn't the most riveting collection of clips, it does help establish the close confines of this trip. It's actually a super-beautiful ship, and we kind of love that each room is seemingly monitored by all of these cameras. But we bet that's not all the footage this movie will utilize, as you can also see Sharlto carrying around a space camera over the dinner table.

The official title of the site is Europa Ventures (which sounds like a privately owned company). Here's their mission statement:

For decades, scientists have theorized the existence of liquid water oceans on Jupiter's moon, Europa. We've recently discovered new, captivating evidence that these sub-surface oceans do exist and could support life. We've sent six astronauts from space programs throughout the world on a three year journey to Europa to explore its oceans and confirm these findings. We're proud to be at the forefront of the effort to prove the existence of extra-terrestrial life within our solar system, within our lifetimes.

So what do you think? According to IMDB The Europa Report should hit theaters sometime in 2013.
