An Ada Lovelace-Mary Shelley team-up, an encyclopedia of Golden Age superheroes, and a Jurassic Park stage show

There are always wonderful projects in need of crowdfunding, and we've rounded up some fun campaigns vying for your dollars: a children's book about the early adventures of Mary Shelley and Ada Lovelace, a US stage tour for a Jurassic Park parody, some mathematically beautiful wall clocks, and an encyclopedia of our earliest comic book heroes.

Wollstonecraft Children's Book: Ada Lovelace and Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley are two of the most fascinating women of the Victorian era, and their contributions to science and science fiction respectively. What if the two met as children and teamed up to form a detective agency? That's the premise of Jordan Stratford's Wollstonecraft, a book aimed at girls 8-12 designed to inspire a love of technology, imagination, and history. For a $10 pledge, you'll receive an ebook of the finished product.

Para Clocks Project: Radial geometry is found throughout human arts: in architecture and textiles, and now in the manufactured-on-demand clocks. LeeLABS won't just make these beautiful wall clocks, they'll give you access to their parametric software that allows you to make a unique, radially symmetrical clock of your very own. For a $50 pledge, you'll receive an 8" Para Clock.

The Encyclopedia of Golden Age Superheroes: You may have seen Jess Nevins' fantastic pieces for io9, his Victorian Hugo Awards, his primers on pulps and 19th-century steampunk, and his essay on the worst scifi novel of the 19th century. Nevins has also collected some dead tree guides to genre fiction: The Encyclopedia of Fantastic Victoriana and the forthcoming Encyclopedia of Pulp Heroes. He plans to follow those up with The Encyclopedia of Golden Age Superheroes, focusing on comics written between 1935 and 1949. He's asking for money to fund his trip to Michigan State University in East Lansing, where he can properly research those earliest comic heroes. For a $10 pledge, you'll receive a digital copy of the book. For a $50 pledge, Nevins will do extra-special research on the superhero of your choosing.

Skin Horse Volume 3: Shaenon Garrity and Jeffrey C. Wells' Skin Horse is one of the funniest webcomics out there. Centered around a Black Ops Social Services agency, Skin Horse follows a motley crew of bureaucrats, including a violence-happy flesh golem, a dog who thrives on paperwork, and a cross-dressing ladies' man, as they help the world's monsters, cryptids, and killer robots adjust to modern society. For a $20 pledge, you'll receive a copy of Volume 3.

Jurassic Park Parody Live-Action Dino Show: US Tour:
This one is getting down to the wire, so if you want to see a Jurassic farce in your city, please pledge. The Old Murder House Theater, the folks who brought us Aliens on Ice, want to bring their latest stage show, a Jurassic Park parody, on a 12-city US tour. For a $25 pledge, you get a ticket to the show, so be sure to check out their tentative schedule.
