Here's an artifact from quite the bygone era. Many years ago, someone decided to publish a bootleg comic starring the Indian superhero Nagraj and his three friends, Superman, Spider-Man, and Batman. Together, they had to fight a dwarf mage from outer space and are forced to murder a WWF wrestler with the help of an Indian mystic. The resulting story — Nagraj Vs. Shakoora The Magician — didn't make any sense whatsoever, but we're not complaining one bit.
There's a lot to love in this 30-page comic, such as scenes of Superman killing a supervillain by tossing him in a volcano, Nagraj (who happens to be an otherwise legit superhero with snake powers) insulting his girlfriend at the circus, and the trio of illegally purloined superheroes teaming up to systematically murder Captain Lou Albano (the now-deceased father from Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" music video and the star of the Super Mario Bros. Super Show).
We normally don't post comics in full, but seeing as how the blog that hosts this gem seems to be defunct and this whole escapade was pretty illegal to begin with, here's the entirety of Nagraj Vs. Shakoora The Magician for posterity's sake. To quote Superman, "Why Dwarfy! What happened?"
A huge thank you to Sigmund Zoid.
