Fantasy team-up of the century! The more we hear about Warner Bros' strange LEGO movie, the more excited we get. And now that the studio is dumping a ton of their trademarked properties into the picture and casting folks like Will Arnett to voice Batman? We're losing it.
Geektyrant reports that directors Phil Lord, Chris Miller (Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, 21 Jump Street), and Chris McKay (Robot Chicken) are circling some amazing talent for LEGO cameos, namely Channing Tatum and Will Arnett for the voices of Superman and Batman, respectively.
If this goes through, they will join Chris Pratt of Parks and Recreation, who is playing the main LEGO character. We're not sure what other properties the studio has earmarked to appear in this production, but we would love a Harry Potter reunion, even in mere LEGO form. LEGO — which probably won't be the official title — is scheduled for a February 28, 2014 release date.
