Star Trek Into Darkness:

Here the latest vague quote, this time from John Cho: "You can look forward to an epic movie! People should relax - JJ's an amazing filmmaker, and I think he will make people happy again." [via Trekweb]

Ghostbusters 3:

Shocking news! Shocking, I tell you! This sequel has been put on hold again. There won't be any more news until March, at the soonest. Or, if we're lucky, ever. [IGN]

Iron Man 3:

Marvel's Kevin Feige praises Ben Kingsley's performance as the Mandarin. "On his last take of his first full day as the Mandarin, when they yelled ‘Cut!' the entire crew burst into applause, spearheaded by Mr Downey himself," says Feige. "It was pretty amazing to see that. That's what you get when you hire Sir Ben Kingsley. He's so excited about his part and so into this character, and frankly just scaring the heck out of everybody. They're like, ‘You've broken us out of our sceptical malaise!'" [via Total Film]

Ben Whishaw says his version of Q does have connections to the classic versions: "I think it's so well written by John Logan and the other writers that they'd kind of done that brilliant homework of making sure that it continues the through line from Desmond and there are nods to him, whilst making a real character and a contemporary character at the same time. But I felt that that was all in the writing. I just had to sort of… yeah, I just had to do it." [First Showing]

Bone Tomahawk:

This horror Western will star Kurt Russell, Richard Jenkins, Peter Sarsgaard, and Jennifer Carpenter, in a story about "a sheriff (Russell), a gunslinger, a befuddled oldster (Jenkins) and a cowboy (Sarsgaard) as they attempt to rescue a group of captives (including Carpenter) from a band of cannibalistic troglodytes." This is the directorial debut for writer S. Craig Zahler. [Variety]

Zero Theorem:

Terry Gilliam's trippy new movie is apparently close enough to filming that Christoph Waltz has shaved his head for it - something that's happening to a lot of castmembers, either so they can be bald throughout or so they can have different hairpieces stuck on in different scenes. Doctor Who:

Zoe Alexander - a Pink impersonator who was rejected as a contestant on The X-Factor and became famous for going on a huge rant at the judges - is now guest-starring on Doctor Who, and has been spotted filming some scenes. Supernatural:

Felicia Day will reportedly be back as Charlie, her awesome hacker character from "The Girl With the Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo." Which seemed like a foregone conclusion, but is still excellent news. [TV Line]

Jared Padalecki talks about the Sam-Dean relationship: "The show is always going to be about Sam-and-Dean as a character, the brotherhood… but I do like fleshing out who these guys are outside of each other. It gives it more value, how much they care about each other, when you see that they have other things that they care about. [If they only have each other] it's not as much of a sacrifice, as if Dean is having to step away from this friend that he made in Purgatory, I'm having to step away from a woman that I still love, you know, knowing she's out there." Arrow:

We'll meet Firefly, who was originally a Batman villain, and he'll be played by Andrew Dunbar. [TV Guide]

Revolution:

Leland Orser (Taken, ER) will play John Sanborn, a scientist who loves to build weapons. Patrick St. Esprit (Sons of Anarchy, Chicago Code) will play Wayne
Ramsey, a leader in the Resistance. These both could become recurring roles. [TV Guide]

The Walking Dead:

This Spanish-language promo for episode four, "The Killer" includes some new footage. [SpoilerTV]

Grimm:

Bitsie Tulloch (Juliette) talks about some upcoming steaminess: "You are going to see some mad bedroom skills in an episode coming up that is so intense and amazing that we had to rehearse it forever. I can't say who the other person is, but we both decided we didn't want to do it with the stunt doubles, but we had a stunt coordinator. It's basically a sex scene that is so cool and crazy that the stunt coordinator had to be there." [BuddyTV]

Last Resort:

The tenth episode will be called "Damn the Torpedos." [SpoilerTV]
