Transformers 4

Mark Wahlberg was taking meetings with Michael Bay, which lead to rumors that Bay was considering Wahlberg for Transformers 4. Bay quickly denied the rumors. But he seems to have had a change of heart. He posted this on his blog:

I squashed a rumor that was on the internet last week. It was about Mark Walhberg. Mark was rumored to be staring in Transformers 4. We are working on another movie together, not T4. I had such a great time working with Mark on Pain and Gain, and he gave such a great performance – well let's say that very internet chatter gave me some ideas. We are at the inception of our story process right now on T4. Let's say some ideas are gaining traction with me and my writer – so I'm here to say thanks internet chatter.

Not too surprisingly, Hasbro has denied rumors that it'll be the next nerd empire to be acquired by Disney. [Slash Film]

Warner Brothers has also revealed the budget of the film is between $40 and 50 million. There's no confirmed plot, but rumors suggest the film may follow "a supermarket employee who discovers he has otherworldly powers and must make the ultimate choice between fighting for the side of good or evil." The Vampire Diaries

Tonight's episode, "The Killer," will reveal a lot of Connor's backstory. Actor Todd Williams says:

It's not as black and white as, Oh, vampires. I want to kill ‘em. That's it. There's definitely a story there, and this episode makes him a little more three-dimensional, just in terms of his humanity. You find out more about his relationship with Professor Shane and exactly what they're trying to get from one another, why they have this alliance.

Don't worry, the love triangle between Damon, Elena and Stefan hasn't been forgotten. Stefan definitely notices Elena and Damon getting closer, and the whole thing erupts in episode 6. [E! Online]

Arrow

Stephen Amell who plays Oliver reveals that things come to a head between his family relationships and his secret identity in Episode eight:

The biggest problem for Oliver so far hasn't been any bad guys, necessarily. It's been his relationship with Thea (Willa Holland) and Moira (Susanna Thompson) - and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) to a lesser extent. They're a big problem for him, and - going into Episode 8 - he can't continue. Whether it's bringing them closer, whether it's giving up what he's doing... something is going to have to change because the way things are going right now, it's deteriorating the relationships in his family.

He's also not worried about Oliver being a dark character, saying, "As long as the television is compelling, then I don't really care if people like him or dislike him." [Wet Paint]

Ben Browder (John Crichton on Farscape) will be playing Ted Gaynor in episode 11. In the TV version, Gaynor was John Diggle's commanding officer in Afghanistan, and now works in security in Starling City. A series of armored truck robberies puts Gaynor in between Ollie and Dig. [TV Equals]

American Horror Story: Asylum

TV Line has a long interview with Evan Peters about his character Kit and what will happen to his character next. Peters says: "He's kind of losing his mind a bit - everybody's telling him he's crazy and he's starting to believe it, which is pretty sad - so he reaches out to Grace and she's there for him."

He also admits there is some ambiguity as to the nature of the aliens, wondering "whether the aliens are figments of the characters' imaginations when they get to a certain point of confusion in their lives and their minds snap. Or are they real, and they [show up] at these incredibly stressful moments?" [TV Line]

And we have a plot synopsis to episode 2x07, "Dark Cousin":

Sister Mary Eunice is terrified to discover a dark angel has descended on Briarcliff. Kit makes a bold move to be reunited with Grace.
