First trailer for The Last Exorcism: Part II picks up right where we left off

We seriously enjoyed the horror movie The Last Exorcism. The success of that flick has inspired a seque, but we're not sure how we feel about that. The sequel ditches the found footage format and picks up with Nell right after her last possession. With everyone in her family dead and little memory of the last movie, Nell wakes up in Louisiana ready to start her life again. But then Satan is all "LOL No."

Here's the first ever trailer —nwe're not sure what to make of it yet, it feels like a vastly different film that the original. We liked the actress who played Nell and her many back arches, but we're not sure what to make of this plot.

Continuing where the first film left off, Nell Sweetzer (Ashley Bell) is found terrified and alone in rural Louisiana. Back in the relative safety of New Orleans, Nell realizes that she can't remember entire portions of the previous months only that she is the last surviving member of her family. Just as Nell begins the difficult process of starting a new life, the evil force that once possessed her is back with other, unimaginably horrific plans that mean her last exorcism was just the beginning.

The Last Exorcism: Part II hits theaters on March 1st.
