Jake the Dog becomes Jake the Dad on Adventure Time

This week in the world of cartoons, Jake the Dog becomes the father of unicorn-puppies, Mordecai is torn by love on Regular Show, Young Justice gets some interesting cameos, and we visit the Blue Lantern homeworld of Odym on Green Lantern: TAS.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic if off this week, but will be back next Saturday. As always - minor spoilers ahead!

Star Wars: The Clone Wars – "Point of No Return"

A Jedi craft has been sabotaged, one that will destroy a Republic conference if Artoo and the D-Squad fail to intervene.

Do Republic conferences involve lecture rooms or are they more of a swap meet with a dealers' room?

Artoo gets creative by starting an oil fire to protect D-Squad from a pack of buzz droids in this clip.

Green Lantern: The Animated Series – "Blue Hope"

On to Odym, the Blue Planet! The Green Lanterns need help fighting the Manhunters, so they turn to the Blue Lantern Corps (led by Ganthet) for help this week.

This turns out to be a bad idea, as the Blue Lanterns' power rings give the Manhunters an unexpected power upgrade.

Young Justice: Invasion – "Cornered"

An alien gladiator is on his way to Earth, looking for the best specimen amongst Earth's super-heroes it can find.

The series does something cool in this nearly silent clip, which features glimpses of Captain Atom, Shazam, and Superman.

The invaders fight their way through several of Earth's Mightiest in the Hall of Justice, but Shazam has a trick in store...

Adventure Time – "Jake the Dad"

Jake the Dog struggles with fatherhood, as Jake and Lady Rainicorn welcome their five uni-pups into the world.

Jake fights off some rather interesting worries and hypotheticals in this episode and clip. BMO sneaks in a goodnight kiss too.

Regular Show – "TGI Tuesday"

Guess who might be leaving junior college? Mordecai's crush, Margaret, is studying hard with the hopes of getting into a better school.

Eileen and Mordecai decide to toss a party for Margaret on Tuesday night — a night they perceive as her last night of freedom.

Tron Uprising – "Welcome Home"

Paige and Occupation forces are on the hunt for a runaway scientist, sending Beck off on dangerous runaway train ride.

In this clip, we some amazing visuals as Beck takes on an attacking helicopter. A new episode, "Rendezvous", airs this Sunday at midnight.
