He's the greatest, he's fantastic, and wherever there is danger he'll be there. And now Danger Mouse is coming BACK to television!
According to The Guardian, the Danger Mouse series is gearing up for a full-fledged comeback, complete with new shiny new secret agent gadgets and gizmos. For example, the postal box HQ will be newly outfitted with all sorts of new technology (here's hoping they keep the sunken sitting area). Other upgrades also include DM's eyepatch, which will be replaced with what the paper is calling an "i-patch," and sounds dreadful, but fingers crossed.
The BBC will be producing the new series and has ordered up 52 new episodes. No word on what the official new look will utilize, but the original series loved to mix and mash various media, so we wouldn't be surprised if this series used a little CG here and there. But hopefully DM will remain his old, line-animated self.
