Behold the vibrant and catsuit-crazy trailer for The Skin I Live In by Pedro Almodovar (Volver.) Loosely based on a Thierry Jonquet novel, this indie film stars Antonio Banderas as a mad scientist hell-bent on making indestructible skin... and apparently tiger leotards.

Here's the official synopsis:

A brilliant plastic surgeon, haunted by past tragedies, creates a type of synthetic skin that withstands any kind of damage. His guinea pig: a mysterious and volatile woman who holds the key to his obsession.

The Skin I Live In will be released on October 14, 2011.
