NASA may let you see the first science fiction movie filmed in space after all

Good news! After everybody was so disappointed that NASA was holding up the release of Apogee of Fear, Richard Garriott's eight-minute science fiction movie filmed aboard the International Space Station, the agency appears to have had a change of heart. The other day, a NASA spokesperson told Wired:

NASA is working with Richard Garriott to facilitate the video's release. While the project was not part of his original Space Act agreement with NASA, everyone involved had the best of intentions. We hope to resolve the remaining issues expeditiously, and we appreciate Richard's cooperation and his ongoing efforts to get people excited about the future of space exploration.

No clue yet how or when we'll get to see it, but a low-quality cam video from Dragon-Con is embedded above.
