Believe it or not, you can explain why tides go in and out

Surprise, surprise. Leave it to MinutePhysics' Henry Reich to serve up a quick, clean rebuttal to Bill O'Reilly's infamous assertion that the rise and fall of sea levels can't be explained.

And as an added bonus, Reich throws in an additional sixty seconds to explore the finer points of tidal forces, including why we only ever see one side of the moon, and how, in the distant future, a single day and one lunar month will each be about fifty (current) Earth-days long.

Ah, physics. Never a miscommunication.
