USA Today features our first look at the new Sleestaks in the Land Of The Lost movie, now filming — and they don't look all that different from the classic Sid-And-Marty-Krofft versions. Director Brad Silberling (Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events) says he fought to keep the humanoid shape of the menacing lizard people, instead of letting them be "spindly computerized beings."
