Collectible Comics are Gaining in Popularity — Among Drug Dealers

A meth bust in Denver this week turned up more than just chemicals and stacks of cash. Police found roughly 100 boxes of classic comics worth about $500,000 dollars with the rest of the dealers' stash. According to the Colorado Attorney General, buying up expensive comics has proved an effective way to launder money, and dealers can simply hawk the books on eBay when they're short on cash.
