Back in the early 90s I did a little work with my friends for a 'zine called Mercury Rising. William Gibson used it for background information on us San Francisco bike messengers for his book Virtual Light. He got a little carried away though, and lifted a short piece of fiction word for word from one of my friends. He has copped to it since then and I believe later printings have full credit given.
Whatev. I prefer that other cyberpunk novel with a girl messenger heroine that came out a little earlier, Snow Crash.
