Geeze... why do we always have to take a great BBC show and make a horrible US version. Just release the superior British version here. They ruined the Office, Mars, Little Britain and other BBC shows that way.

@Andrew E. Konietzky: It's not a BBC show. It airs on ITV over in the UK.
And - like anything on ITV, with the exception of "Coronation Street" - it's fucking awful. Really awful. If the producers have actually managed to sell this to the US, then I congratulate them as they giggle to themselves and maybe do a little jig. Well done, chaps.
If this is all true, I'd look forward to the remake. Maybe they can expand beyond the join-the-dots scripts, shitty FX and the crap acting.
Is there such a dearth of decent sci-fi out there that garbage like this is lauded on sites like this?
