Galactica 1980 was a rush job that the Network gave the green light to and wanted the episodes immediately. Much of the show was written the same day that it was filmed.
Obviously, this is going to be a reimaganing of the story, told much better.
Even though Glactica 1980 was almost complete garbage, the show did introduce human cylons.
Also, the episode "The Return of Starbuck" is brillant, better than most of the original series. Reply
