Amen. I was so disgusted with the lack of insight displayed by the jedi counsel, it was pathetic. Anyone who didn't realize that Anakin couldn't be trusted wasn't fit to manage a "Hotdog-on-a-Stick". And palpatine wasn't much more subtle. I found myself hoping the jedi would be torn down so that something better could rise to take it's place.
Lucas is a joke. Someone needs to rip that story from his inept hands.

@newgalactic: I hated the fact that they forced the prequels to match the later films but didn't do it with any thought or finesse.
At the end of Episode III, Yoda just says "Oh well, we lost. I better run away."
WTF?!?! Like Yoda would do that.
