Alright, here's a serious question. If all the Doctors are the same person, just in different bodies, why don't they all act the same? (Besides the obvious, "They're different actors, dummy." I mean is there anything in the canon that explains this?)

@RAHfanboy for one, welcomes his Marxist overlords.: I always viewed it as a reincarnation. Let's pretend reincarnation exists. My past self from a hundred years ago probably had a different body and a different personality but the same "soul". It's kind of like that.
That's not a scientific canon of the show or anything, just how I find it easy to understand it.
