@grime: that's not really it at all I'm saying it's going to be awesome and could be better than gears, and gears is pretty fun especially when you drown in blood of a giant creature. But I'm saying Terminator might take it over because it's the Terminator!

@adamczar: Probably because I'm deep in it right now and that's all I've been talking about. It takes me more than two days to beat a game. Plus it's got a ton of hype right now how can you not talk about it.

@Meredith Woerner: except 'the terminator' hasn't been the terminator since T2. movie tie-in games are so frequently bad they're often dissmissed until proven otherwise. movie tie-in games for the second sequel to many doubly so.

@tetracycloide: You may be right but I'm insanely optimistic about Terminator Salvation and all the things that will come from it. The concept art really put me over the edge especially the motorcycle terminator. It's all I have!

@Meredith Woerner: i remember REALLY enjoying the T3 game for the PS2. you were JACKING HK's in the future and riding them around blowing shit up like crazy!
anyway, why no coverage of games on io9? scifi is so huge in games, but we only see analysis of books and film, usually. too much crossover with kotaku??
