Could the Governor be leaving The Walking Dead for another show?

David Morrissey is one of the best things about The Walking Dead as the one-eyed martinet, the Governor. But now Morrissey has been cast as the lead in a new AMC science fiction series, Line of Sight. Could this mean he'll disappear from the zombie wasteland?

According to Deadline, which broke the news, Morrissey can do both projects for now — he's filming both season four of Walking Dead and the Line of Sight pilot in Atlanta. But if Line of Sight actually gets picked up as a series, what then? Could Morrissey really keep going back and forth?

Line of Sight is the pilot we've reported on before, that's being directed by Jonathan Demme. According to Deadline, this show "tells the story of Lewis Bernt (Morrissey), a National Transportation Safety Board investigator who survives a mysterious plane crash, bringing him on an emotionally disorienting quest to discover the accident’s cause. Also cast in the pilot as a regular is Kai Lennox, who will play Tony Vie, one of the crash victims. "
