The two spiders who were flown up to the International Space Station for some kind of experiment into spider life-cycles haven't gotten off to a great start: instead of the nice tidy web researchers were expecting, the spiders have created an unholy mess, "more a tangled, disorganized-looking web than a Charlotte's Web kind of web." And now one of the two spiders has gone missing. Is he hiding in his habitat? Or on the loose inside the ISS? Or in communication with alien arachnids in deep space?
