John Carpenter’s The Thing, as told by the golden pipes of Frank Sinatra

Honestly, I'm of the mind that if you haven't seen The Thing yet, you really owe it to yourself to watch the damn movie. But if you need a crash course in John Carpenter's Antarctic bodysnatcher classic, it's hard to beat this recap by an ersatz Ol' Blue Eyes. Who knew big band and body horror complemented each other so well?

This toe-tapper comes to us from Jon and Al Kaplan, two brothers maniacally committed to reinterpreting the entirety of 1980s scifi cinema using the power of song. Hat tip to David.
