Del Toro's Justice League Dark will be part of a single DC UniverseS

Marvel has a pretty decent head start on DC at this point, in terms of creating a movie universe — hence DC's rush to do Batman Vs. Superman. But according to Guillermo del Toro, DC is going to get there soon, and his team of supernatural misfits will be part of the plan.

Del Toro's Justice League Dark movie will unite Swamp Thing, Deadman, The Spectre, The Demon, and John Constantine to fight supernatural menaces — and in an interview with Cinefilos.it GDT said DC is planning this project will be part of a unified DC Universe on screen:

We're still on [Justice League Dark] writing, and hopefully it will happen but there are no developments that are new. It's still at Warner Bros., they are making plans for the entire DC universe. All the superheroes, all the mythologies, and part of that is Justice League Dark. They're planning on TV, movies, and all the media, so we have to fit into that plan.

Here's the video from the interview. Fingers crossed DC figures out how to make this work, after the failure of Green Lantern.
