It's a spoiler bonanza this morning. For one thing, a producer gave some hints about the sheer number of new robots you'll see in Transformers 2. There's also an early report on G.I. Joe that includes some pretty heavy-duty destruction. A leaked Battlestar Galactica call-sheet includes a couple of scenes between Admiral Adama and characters you wouldn't expect him to meet with. Doctor Who's producer spills the premise of the next Christmas special. Dollhouse script pages include a scary development in episode three. Oh yeah, and there are spoilers for indie movie Hybrid, plus Smallville, Lost, Heroes, and your favorite, Knight Rider. Get ahead of yourself, with spoilers. <a href="http://io9.com/5051573/gi-joes-wanton-destruction-plus-crazy-twists-from-doctor-who-dollhouse-and-bsg" title="Click here to read more about G.I. Is there room for a eco-friendly Christine remake? It looks like car horror is back, judging from the Cannes teaser poster for the thriller Hybrid, which leaked out today. There isn't much out there on this movie other than this brief description, "A female mechanic spends one night of terror trapped with a Hybrid car in a Chicago police garage." Eric Valette (One Missed Call) is set to direct and he's already cast Shannon Beckner. And Oded Fehr (face tattoos from The Mummy, Resident Evil: Apocalypse) is also attached to this project. If this movie does turn into a saga of machines turning against their makers, please let it be a Prius. And if so, I hope Al Gore goes to the premiere.[Bloody Disgusting] More »

In a war-torn, forgotten remnant of the Soviet Union a battered laboratory stands, housing the remnants of twisted experiments. Some of the surviving tenants — part of an attempt by the insane veterinary doctor Ilya Ivanovich Ivanov to breed a slave race of ape/human hybrids — have escaped into the surrounding forest, their whereabouts unknown. We're not making this up; this is happening right now at the crumbling Research Institute of Experimental Pathology and Therapy in Sukhumi, Abkhazia, a small nation-state on the Black Sea. More »

If you're excited about Cloverfield and you enjoy boating, then maybe you'll like the forthcoming Hybrid. The scifi/horror film follows vacationing students on a sailing trip, who come across an abandoned trawler. But a mutant creature, created by pollution, is living on the trawler and "fishing" for humans in the open sea. Hybrid is based on a graphic novel that hasn't even come out yet, from a company that hasn't even started publishing.
