Hollywood wants to make sequel to the holiday classic It's a Wonderful Life. FUCK THIS SHIT.
George Bailey is apparently great at giving angels their wings but shit at teaching his family life lessons, because Hollywood has a crackerjack idea for a sequel to the 1946 classic starring Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed. Variety is reporting that producers Allen J. Schwalb and Bob Farnsworth of Hummingbird are trying to get It's A Wonderful Life 2 off the ground, to be centered around:
Karolyn Grimes, who played George Bailey's daughter "Zuzu" in the original, will return for the "Wonderful Life" sequel as an angel who shows Bailey's unlikeable grandson (also named George Bailey) how much better off the world would have been had he never been born.
Thankfully there's no studio connection yet so Hollywood now has the rare, unique connection to stop this atrocity from happening and, for once, not play the role of Mr. Potter and save the day! Do it, Hollywood. For Zuzu!
The producers are hoping they can get It's a Wonderful Life 2 into the theaters by the 2014 holiday season. Gross.
