If you want to find me, I'll be drinking 100 feet underground

After the radiation disaster, the survivors moved underground. We built towns in old mining shafts, hammering wood over the expressionless planes of the rock face. When we longed for windows, we sidled up to the granite bar and drank until the walls went transparent.
