But yesterday, concept artist (and comics god) Jock Twittered that he's "working through script visuals for Judge Dredd movie. Alex Garland writes a great script." That's confirmation that Alex Garland (The Beach, 28 Days Later, Sunshine) is writing the script, and that he's already written enough of it for Jock to be working on visuals of specific scenes. Slashfilm speculates that Mark Romanek, currently in post-production on an adaptation of Kazuo Ishiguro's Never Let Me Go from a screenplay by Garland, could direct Dredd as well.
