AMC is building on its Walking Dead cred with a new show about a mysterious plane crash and a weird conspiracy, Line of Sight. And now, they've hired Silence of the Lambs director Jonathan Demme to helm the pilot.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the show is about a National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) investigator, Lewis Bernt, who survives a plane crash and becomes obsessed with finding out what happened to him. And it's a "genre-bending odyssey" in which Bernt's world unravels into a whirlwind of obsession and paranoia. Sounds suspiciously similar to The Event, but with Demme on board, it should be fun to look at, at the very least.
