Hold on to your butts — Jurassic Park 4 has been pushed back... way back. But here's why that's a good thing.
A collection of suspicious tweets have been popping up from members of the JP4 crew. Ain’t It Cool News screencapped a number of these messages from Digital Asset Manager Todd Smoyer and another from Concept Artist Dean Sherriff:
Slashfilm followed up with a bit of source tugging, and found out that the movie is being put on hold until they can rework the script. However director Colin Trevorrow is still on board. Honestly, we're thrilled.
The summer deadline of 2014 was crazypants optimistic, at best. Plus we weren't terribly thrilled that the team wasn't going to update the new batch of dinosaurs to include everything we've discovered in the past 20 years about the various species' mannerisms and appearance. Let's hope Trevorrow takes this additional time to make Jurassic Park 4 not horrible.
