What if CG technology had not progressed enough to allow director Steven Spielberg to use them in Jurassic Park? Also, say, what if Spielberg's special effects budget maxed out at about $23.85? This amazing, hilarious video has the answer.
Michael T. Mann replaced Jurassic Park's CG with his own, somewhat lower-budget practical effects, and the results are just delightful. I'd say I'd love him to take on The Phantom Menace next, but I don't know that he wants to spend the next three years trying to take all the CG out of something like that.
