AMC's Galyntine sounds like the show we wanted Revolution to be

AMC, home of zombies and smoking zombies, is developing a brand new post-apocalyptic show Galyntine, in which humans abandon technology and live in tribes. In other words, sort of like what we'd expected from Revolution.

The LA Times reports that AMC picked up a whole few new shows, including one historical drama — but we're most interested in Galyntine, which is described thusly:

"Galyntine" takes place on a planet long after a technology-based disaster has made humanity reject technology, causing society to re-form in small tribes scattered across the face of the planet.

It's written by Jason Cahill and produced by The Walking Dead's Greg Nicotero, along with Ridley Scott. So fingers crossed...
