				It's not John McCain, sadly, but the next best thing. Fred Thompson - the lawyer-turned-actor-turned-senator-turned-Republican-presidential-nominee - has signed up for a stint as Harvey Keitel's boss in ABC's time-traveling cop show <em>Life On Mars</em>. He'll make his first appearance next year, when the show moves to Wednesday nights, following the return of <em>Lost</em>.
