The producers of the YouTube viral hit, Lonelygirl15, are about to launch a new scifi web series tracing the steps of The Resistance, which is a rebel group of citizens... who just happen to be made up of actors from the old Lonelygirl15 series. Together they work on stopping an evil society that is murdering the ladies of the future. If LG15: The Resistance starts to spawn even MORE terrible web series, I'm going to be pissed. When lonelygirl15 meets the end of the world, it's webseries gold. You may not know this, but according to 2009: A True Story, on April 11, 2008, all hell broke lose on America soil. Cities were blown to bits by an unknown enemy, and the remaining government enforced the Patriot Act under the advertising campaign "America: Keep The Dream Alive." The next thing anyone knew, American soil was no longer a safe place for free thinkers and idealists. 2009 follows 18-year-old Sarah Ford to California to be closer to where her brother is stationed. The youtube series is made up of 13 episodes tracking both Sarah's journey out of the military madness of LA and into the Mojave, and her brother Adam's helmet cam.
