I was all set to tell you that Miyazaki's new movie about the early life of Jiro Horikoshi, the designer of the Zero planes used by the Japanese Imperial Navy in World War II, was another quiet Ghibli film. I would have been wrong.

There are plane crashes, earthquakes, young girls vomiting blood — it's not Princess Mononoke, but neither is it Totoro. You'll note I've started the video at the 1:20 mark; there's an intro before it that doesn't feature anything of interest (unless you want to see acclaimed director Hayao Miyazaki stretching while in an apron, in which case, hey, my apologies).
