When, exactly, will we get new Red Dwarf episodes?S

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige puts to rest casting rumors for Ant-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy and also hints at the new Marvel characters getting movies. And there are new images from Sleepy Hollow, Being Human, and American Horror Story. Spoilers now!

Ant-Man

Marvel Studios head, Kevin Feige, shot down the Joseph Gordon-Levitt casting rumors:

Well, nothing is true yet.

Sometimes it’s because we are legitimately talking, sometimes it’s just because he’s a prominent actor out there now. And lots of rumors surround prominent actors.

Guardians of the Galaxy

Feige went on to say that the long-rumored, mostly confirmed, involvement of Vin Diesel in Guardians of the Galaxy is "close":

I think it’s close. I think it’s close to being official for the Groot character. But, not 100 percent yet.

Marvel Phase 3

Feige also hinted that the next set of Marvel movies could include Daredevil and Punisher:

We’re trying to figure out what to do with Daredevil now. Punisher could show up at one point. You know, once we get characters back into the Marvel fold we don’t want to do something right away, we want to do the smart thing at the smart time.

Red Dwarf

Actor Robert Llewellyn (Kryten) confirmed that we'll hopefully be seeing new episodes next year, saying:

We are officially making another series.

It will be sometime in 2014 but I can't be any more accurate than that because we simply don't know yet.

As far as the main cast are concerned, Chris, Danny, Craig and myself are all very committed to making another series, Doug Naylor is working on it like a man posessed but beyond that it's in the lap of the GELFS.

Falling Skies

Academy Award and Golden Globe winner Mira Sorvino will guest star in the fourth season of Falling Skies as Sara, which is described in the press release as:

[Sara is] a woman far removed from her former life as a graphic designer. She is now dogged by death at every turn, yet she has never felt more alive, free or fearless. A chance encounter with guerrilla fighter John Pope (Colin Cunningham) leads her to join the resistance and develop a strong personal bond with the outlaw-turned-warrior.

Misfits

After last season, season five will see a return of the "superhero" element of the show. This means there's been a lot of greenscreen work and flying. Contrary to any other expectations, this season will not have guest appearances from the original cast or characters like Grace, Finn's sister. However, there will be cameos from more minor characters.

In relation to Abbey's identity, there will be a new enemy named Scary and a "mysterious turtle." There's also a chance that Shaun may get a happy, death free ending and that this season won't feature the death of a probation worker. In fact, the cast generally describes the ending as "emotional," and satisfying without resolving everything. More at the link. [Den of Geek]

The Walking Dead

Showrunner Scott Gimple gave a ton of details on the new disease to The Hollywood Reporter, saying that no matter what we think we can deduce from events, we still don't know the origin of the flu:

The flu has spread to Karen — does that narrow down the origins of the virus to either animals or water?

One thing I really dug about this story when we were talking about it [in the writers' room] is that because of the third-world situation that they're in — it's almost medieval — they don't get to know; they don't have a lab to take samples and look at stuff under microscopes. They need to roll with it and figure it out in a really difficult situation to do so. And the audience has to, too.

And he discussed how leadership will change going forward:

The group is now divided between those who have been exposed to the flu, leaving Michonne (Danai Gurira), Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Carl (Chandler Riggs) split from the rest of the group. How will that change the leadership within the prison?

The council is getting broken up, and all stability at the prison — all these things that they built — are being challenged and compromised. The momentum to this is not good for them holding on to what they have.

The group thinks someone is leaving mice near the fence — which could be another threat from within their walls. How long can this group stay at the prison?

It looks like that might be what's going on; that's what they're speculating it is. They're going to be tested. The thing I love is that you find safety in this world. You find these walls, and then those walls start closing in on you. And what the hell do you then?

Rick (Andrew Lincoln) realizes he can't continue to take a back seat anymore and resumes carrying his holster and gun. How will he change going forward?

We started him off in a very peaceful place — as peaceful as you can get on this show. He's achieved something for his family and for himself and the people around him. Clara said to him, "It's almost like a curse — you don't get to come back from the things you've done." From the time he got back from there, that pig — one of the symbols of what he achieved with his farm life — had died. Things are getting taken away from him: There goes the farm, there's a gun in his son's hand, and he'd taken that gun out of his hand, and things are slowly being taken away from him. All the things he's achieved, he's going to be challenged whether he can hold on to them. Whether it's his identity, his family, his relationship to the people in the prison, it's all coming to a head very quickly.

More at the link. [The Hollywood Reporter]

In an interview, Lauren Cohen explained what's in store for Maggie now that the disease means she has to keep her distance from the possibly infected, including Glenn, and the change in Carol:

She is terrified that this could be the end and just goes to action stations. That’s all she can do. She just has to keep her s— together. It’s torture being separated form him and being sort of amputated. It’s a very intense ride.

The whole transformation for Melissa’s character is so much fun. And it has not even begun, let’s just leave it at that. It’s really awesome.
