As well as the pride of knowing that you're on first-name terms with Gene Roddenberry's most famous creation, the page also offers IM buddy icons and desktops of the groovy retro movie posters, as well as the chance to discover just how many other people are pretending to be fictional characters online. Soon your MySpace page can feature clips from shows like Doctor Who, Torchwood, Red Dwarf and other BBC scifi shows. The BBC has launched a Worldwide Scifi MySpaceTV Channel (mouthful much?). It's a nice collection of videos, including the one where Peter Davison (yes!) regenerates into Colin Baker (boo). You can add and subscribe to them through MySpace, and embed the video to your heart's content.
