If you were worried that Dead Space 2 was abandoning horror for action, some new concept art should set your mind at ease — and give you nightmares at the same time.

The sequel to hit space-horror game Dead Space features more extreme caricatures of the human form, and this concept art is easily some of the grossest horror imagery we've seen lately. Wired Magazine has a huge feature about the design of Dead Space 2, including tons more art and explanations from the game's designers of just how they came up with this "gross anatomy" for the Leapers, the Pukers, and other victims of the Necromorph infection.
