Make-a-Wish is turning San Francisco into Gotham City for one Batkid

Five-year-old Miles is currently battling leukemia and so the Make-a-Wish Foundation is giving him a much more entertaining battle to fight. On November 15th, San Francisco will become Miles' very own Gotham City, which he will patrol as Batkid.

The day starts with a breaking news story. San Francisco's Police Chief asks if anyone knows the whereabouts of Batkid because he needs his help solving crime and bringing the bad guys to justice. Our little Batkid, Miles, in training with adult Batman, is ready to answer the call! Of course Batkid will be riding around the City, saving the day and performing feats of derring-do!

The Make-a-Wish website has a full run-down of Miles heroic itinerary, so if you're in the area, you can cheer him on in his superhero-for-a-day wish. You can also donate to a local, national, or internation chapter of Make-a-Wish. Hopefully, it will be a fun and cheerful day for a boy who takes his inspiration from superheroes.
