Andrew Niccol's meta reality TV movie, The Truman Show is absolutely ripe for a television adaptation. And now, it's actually going to happen.
The Wrap revealed the new TV agenda over at Paramount includes The Truman Show, although it is officially not in production. And you could easily see how this could be a great idea — you could run through a slew of episodes before the main character actually wants to split his reality TV chains. Heck you could go for a few seasons without him knowing. I would watch just for the idyllic simulation of a perfect world (both from the inside and on the outside in the God-like Moon office that Ed Harris operates from). [via Badass Digest]
