Thank you. She is a great singer, it's just that her voice has this nasal quality that bugs me. I still think she is a great singer.
Yeah, but would we love her as much? A big part of Adele's appeal is "authenticity". We don't know these people. We have no way to tell if they are authentic or not. It's like reading bullet points off the back of the box of a product that we have already agreed to buy. And all the bullet points tie into her weight somehow. Take the word "earthy". This word comes up a lot, but when have we ever called a skinny person "earthy".
It feels every bit as manipulative as Lady Gaga, but it is coming at us from a different direction.
I can't shake the feeling that we are overrating her. I don't really think we are in love with Adele. We are in love with the "idea" of someone like Adele. Would we still feel this way about her if she looked like Katy Perry?
Adele's voice has a nasal quality that really bugs me. It's like she is singing out of her nose and not her mouth.
They should make Predaking next. Predaking is the most underrated combiner!

IMHO Hale is overrated.
I think gamers always expect the voiceacting to be bad. When it isn't bad we are so relieved we tend to think it's better than it really is, when in fact it's just....not bad. And that is what Hale is "not bad". I am relived that she isn't bad, but being "not bad" doesn't mean she is good, it just means that she is "not bad". She isn't deserving of all the praise being heaped upon her. She and Meer would be the worst voiceactors in the game if not for the guy playing Jacob.
The fact that we are celebrating her performance just shows how little we expect of our voiceactors.
