"Here's an interview with star John Anderson" I believe that should be Joe Anderson. #corrections
EXACTLY!! Moderation is key here. Processed foods, with their overabundance of salt and sugar, have completely destroyed most Americans taste buds!! My family is from Italy, and we are accustomed to less sugar than is found in most baked goods so, we mostly bake our own. I *did* go through a phase where, as a teen, I tried lots of the typical American treats (Hostess, Oreos and what not). After a while, I grew tired of them because they were just too fake. Except Little Debbie Nutty Bars, good lord, I love those things. Which is why I never buy them, too tempting. I should find a way to make those...
How many practices can you create to go along with spraying something? It goes something like this: grab inhaler, spray into mouth. Done.
What was different between the US and the UK schools that you think made the difference for you?
Looks cute and cozy, but I bet it smells something awful.
Japan already gets a ridiculous variety of Kit Kat flavors and now this?? Why is our chocolate so boring?
Mmm, manchego...so hungry now.
No, New England isn't a state, it's its own country.
I thought it was great, too!
Ha ha ha, nice. I will have to start reminding him of those times!
That's a great way to handle it. My mom preached the abstinence bit and I don't think that works very often. With my kids, I've told him that when he thinks he's ready, let me know and I will spring for the condoms. Because I know I can't stop him, only help him do the right thing.
No, it really sounds like Jenelle has serious mental issues and needs help. And I think her mom is too stressed out to help her daughter deal with those issues or guide her towards some help.
I don't know about that, I think it depends on the person. My mother tried to put the pregnancy fear into me...it didn't work. I had my son when I was in my freshman year of college. Did she tell me I was on my own? Hell, no. *She* didn't come to this country to abandon her child when she needed her mother the most. She helped me with my son and I finished school and 15 years later we're all pretty happy. And now that she's older, I help her out. Because that's family and that's what you do.
Thank you! My husband sometimes says, half jokingly, that he loves me more. And I wonder, how do you measure that? By how often I want sex? By the meals I cook? By the amount of nagging I give him to go see a doctor for that hip pain? HOW???
I don't think *most* American are passionate about them, just a very vocal few. I think the real issue a lot of Americans have with it is that we don't like to be told what we can and can't own. Even if there is no real reason to own one anyway.

And then there are a few people that think we should be maintaining a militia so if the government needs to get overthrown, we can do that. And we'll need automatic weapons for that. Of course, that's a whole 'nuther can of worms.

Hoping for the Iron Giant.
Organs are so over-rated.
Yeah, I've known more than a few people that smoke a little and turn into productivity machines. I used to be a shift supervisor at a small restaurant a few years back and there was one kid who was an average worker when sober. Let him smoke a little and he'd become the best server and get that place spotless by the end of the night. I never had a problem giving him that smoke break.
