I am suddenly reminded of portal 2....
11. My car battery died this morning and I had to get a ride to work in 25F weather.

Certainly the reason I went back to bed as soon as I got back home...

No really, I have #6 no matter what unless I take medication. Sleep is VERY important. Microsleeps are startling...and they CAN lead to #5.

What are you washing your laundry in?

If I wash my laundry with my stepmother's detergent I end up with an acne outbreak.

Seriously though, have you tried their method on the acne site? They recommend using the BP in the morning and evening.

Uhm, we're not even TALKING about politics here. Whether we agree or disagree with him is completely immaterial.

This post is just a joke off a screenshot from a slightly aging but still amusing sci-fi action comedy.

Precisely. Both the e-ink kindles and nooks screens have enough quality to make digital manga enjoyable, they just need to make it for them. I honestly see this as one of the ways to keep comics from anywhere alive as we move away from paper reading materials more and more.
Precisely. The market will go away for these sorts of things in a few years, shifting to something else.
Speaking both languages I don't believe that a direct translation is the best way to go. Translation by someone that truly understands the nuances of both languages and can properly convey the meaning and feeling of what was said in the original japanese is the superior translation to me.

Since Japanese is so very different than english, a word for word translation rarely comes out with the artists vision in mind, often reading as stilted and strange.

I think greater legal digital availability of these types of quality translations could only help the industry.

That's odd, I had no trouble with a clear picture and zooming. I have a kindle 3. The one with the little keyboard that ISN'T the newest one.

It supports png, jpg, and probably a bunch of other formats.

It also can display japanese text, which I researched before buying ebooks in japanese language.

I heard you could read manga on a kindle (e-ink) so I found a book online and downloaded it. (It's still illegal, though the print copy of this particular one is on my shelf) and I set it up for my kindle.

The e-ink screen lends itself BEAUTIFULLY to manga. It looks fantastic. Crisp clear pictures in order on my little kindle.

She looks pretty miserable without her actual pants too..
As far as I can tell she's cashing in on sparklevampire craze. And good for her. Not my thing though.

I've read a good amount of decent self published and small press published stuff. Then again I have friends writing for these small niche companies that recommend stuff.

Granted a lot of what I get from there is non-traditional romance. There's really no publisher that'd pick up an urban fantasy novel with a bisexual male character that does have (not terribly graphic) sex with a man and a woman in the course of the novel. Even if that sex plays a part in the story and isn't gratuitious.

I like that. Now I just need a roommate.
I like this article....

There is one specific exception for me. When they do a drug study and show the results my first question is neither of those. It's "Give me the details of what you DID." Since most of these results don't list their sample sizes, test durations, and so on.

This is the sort of stunt my stepbrother would do in college when the other students dared him and then waved money to sweeten the dare...

He made a killing riding a mattress down the stairs......I'll have to ask him if he did this.

Know what else works great? Toothbrush. Even better is that brush I had for cleaning my flute. I used the old one to clean my keyboard and computer for years before I lost it.

One of those.

Good luck!

Don't forget that you can order the pizza online!

There's a tumblr devoted to interesting poses and proportion in comic book art of women. Escher girls.

Anyhow, yeah sometimes the poses aren't quite possible, other times they're just very difficult. The sadness is they don't often portray the way the character behaves or even necessarily dresses in the book at all.

It's 5.73 lbs but Sager makes one with it's NP5160.
