Ahem. A Boy and his Dog.
@Enkur: I'll second the Tali Wrex teamup. The two of them were together virtually every mission I played - they're the original odd couple!
@Dr.Quatermass: Ziz! Behemoth and Leviathan get all the glory, now it's Ziz's turn to shine! #moviemonsters
@mathnet: He killed himself by eating a poison-laced apple, and a story goes that this was the origin of Apple Computer's original rainbow-apple-with-a-bite logo.
The highlight of the episode, for me, was seeing Ianto's layabout brother-in-law round up the locals and charge the riot squad. I cheered. I love it when a non-heroic character, who knows nothing of the big picture, decides to take a chance and do what he thinks is right.
@MsFeasance: My understanding is that the aliens have been doing everything for effect, to make the most dramatic impression possible. The squirming and spitting felt like it was put on for show.
@outerfringe: Or grow a beard, and save even the $50.

@t3knomanser: Or the mirror image of the American "Life on Mars"
Don't trust him - he's Nixon!
@masterisosceles: Same here. I brought Tali along on every mission, not because she was terribly useful, but because I enjoyed her company and her banter with Wrex. They're the original odd couple!
Lori Petty: America's sweetheart
As much as I find this interesting, as a scientist I also think that it's a very, very bad idea. Who gave approval for this?
Damn, 1980 is going to be awesome!
@Daumier: But the appearance of Charlie's female wife put the kibosh on that possibility.
