and Nick Redman

Wow, this is a must buy just for the above commenters. I've been purchasing every Stromberg/Morgan Tribute CDs since they started recording for their label. My copy of Steve Smith's biography of Bernard Herrmann is also well worn from constant reading.

A huge Bernard Herrmann fan here!

<![CDATA[AlfaCharger commented on The Original Cloverfield Had Less Yuppie Drama]]> I think Schubert's Piano Trio in E Flat works better in Kubrick's Barry Lyndon card game than in a stomping Dinosaur in the Lost World.

<![CDATA[AlfaCharger commented on The History Of Product Placement In Science Fiction]]> Charlie Jane, the clip you used from The Fifth Element is from TNT. You will note that any reference to the big "M" has been erased from all scenes in the Network showing of the film.

Clearly Beeson was being ironic with the "M" which McDonalds either did not appreciate or TNT did not want any litigious issues.

Beware, not a genuine Beta Romeo. Just get the Thundercougarfalconbird.

<![CDATA[AlfaCharger commented on A Question That Should Never Be Asked About A Dodge Charger SE]]> I ruffled some feathers at Charger forums with a post on this tale. I was asked by another poster to explain that the SRT 8 Hood scoop is indeed functional.

And I quote...

A few points guys, they are not mocking all of us, just the one guy.

Now, I would ask anyone who can post over there to politely explain to "unleaded" that the SRT scoop leads to ducts that dump that air down over the headers. Not ram intake air, but it does serve a purpose.
