As much as I love old school adventure games (even though Grim Fandango was 'modern' by comparison, at the time) it is my shame to say I've not played it, nor any Monkey Island game. Must rectify.
The voice acting in general in SR3 is really a breath of fresh air when playing game after game with bland voice acting (Skyrim I'm looking at you.)
Not only that but the banter between the characters in SR3 is always fun to listen to, they sound like they are enjoying themselves and it's contagious for me as a player.
I'm still playing through the main SR3 story and having lots of fun.
What's to get? When you like something, you want more people to try it out and like it too. And critics can influence people's predispositions to a product. So you get pissed off when you feel the critic hasn't treated the product fairly and is turning people off of it. At least that's how I see it.
I've never played this game and I really, really want to. :(

Seems they use a variation of the animal name when they do small incremental upgrades. Leopard -> Snow Leopard, Lion -> Mountain Lion
Sadly, Valve haven't stated anything at all. :( The community has decided that after all this time, it better be Half-Life 3.

Man that thing is ugly. I think the only reason merchants give me better prices when I'm wearing it, is because they want it in their face for as little as possible.
