I had to go back and look at the brackets again. I thought I missed the Leaf in there. That WOULD have gotten my vote, but instead I went for the Thermostat.

There is no way you can convince me that the Volt, at it's cost, is important. For that money I am going to buy a much nicer car as a consumer. Perhaps if it was a concept that led to affordable cars, it would have been. I feel like the only reason GM released the Volt was because of commitments it made when the government bailed them out and for good PR. That PR has turned ugly with recent fires.

Now, I don't like Apple, I hate Apple. I wouldn't buy one of their products. I know plenty of people that use the iPad. I also understand it is amazing for people with disabilities. So given that it is relatively affordable, can help the disabled, and has opened the Internet up to non-computer users...in my view it is more important.

Apparently the makers of Robotropolis like to steal robot models from Mass Effect. Sharks with laser beams in space though...that is great.
EA, you officially suck.
Well, I was excited about this game. I play from a gaming laptop when away with the military in a place without an Internet connection. I also disagree with this type of DRM. Therefore I will not purchase, the same thing happened with Spore's DRM. I never bought that either.
How can we make this JUST different enough from Tron:Legacy to not get sued.
I am glad I didn't read any reviews before seeing this movie. I thought it was a great popcorn movie. Why do people have to blast things that are just...fun. Same thing happened with Battle: LA. People need to relax. This movie wasn't made to win best picture, just Sucker Punch you in the face with awesomeness (and Scott Glenn).

After seeing this I can't wait for Superman: Man of Steel.
If only there was a Kindle version.
Is it just me or is there no place to get those books on those pages? I was going to look for something to throw on my Kindle. Oh well. If anyone can figure it out, let me know.
@vote quimby: @DJBeatz Mullet of the streets: Well played sir!
What's offensive to me is that the developers decided to put the Taliban as a playable force in the game.

I don't see a problem with AAFES, a group that serves the military in NOT selling a game that depicts people killing the people they serve.

Outside of AAFES, I wouldn't buy this game. I hope many service members and the rest of the American populace feel the same.

Unfortunately, society has a tendency to fail, just like the developer's sense of decency.
@nigma.ed: That is true, but what would the cost be if an enemy easily took down a network that serviced about 700,000 personnel as the article mentioned. It would be a financial, political, and disastrous outcome.
The Air Force has this right. The Navy should use them as a model. I have worked in both services and the Air Forces's infrastructure is lightyears ahead of the NMCI.

The reason the Navy went with NMCI in the first place was because it didn't have a clue about deploying a massive force-wide network. It made sense at the time. What they need to do is have a command with full control of IT like the Air Force that will budget, deploy, and control networks. Then they need to train a rate in the Navy to focus exclusively on IT including the creation of specialties such as Network Admins, systems administrators, and security specialists.
The fact there is no new GOOD Wing Commander game coming out in the future that we are aware of?
Android app please?
Hmm, I dropped my Evo 4G 4 feet onto a ceramic floor. Not a scratch. Thank you HTC and Phantom Skinz.

I was actually recommending to my father to upgrade his 3GS to this thing. Guess that is out the window.
I don't care. Bring em both back but have someone with vision and excellent writers.

Star Wars has an awesome after-Jedi lore. Use it.

Star Trek Online laid a huge layout of how things could be. Use it.

Then get some amazing actors. Someone that can provide a presence like Patrick Stewart or Avery Brooks or Harrison Ford have in the past.

This is the reason Battlestar Galactica was excellent. Say what you want about the ending, but all three of these things came together: Acting, Vision, and Writing.
